BEHIND THE CAMERA: A Summer Filmmaking Intensive
Behind the Camera is a six-week course about how movies get made. Not the glamorous version — the real version. The planning, the paperwork, the communication, the mistakes, and the moments when it all comes together.
This class will cover everything from breaking down a script to choosing camera angles and running a film set. By the end, you will have shot your own scene, worked with real production documents, and have a genuine understanding of what it takes to make a film — whether that is a feature, a YouTube video, a commercial, or a short film on your phone.
This course is open to anyone: no age requirement, no experience needed. If you are curious about filmmaking and want to learn more, you belong here.

• Set safety — the stuff that keeps everyone protected
About the Teacher:
Todd E. Braley is an active indie filmmaker based in Grand Junction and the CEO of Infinity Media Productions. He is not teaching from a textbook — he is teaching from what he does.
Todd has been working in independent film production on the Western Slope and brings that practical, on-the-ground experience directly into the classroom. The things he covers are the things he runs into on his own shoots. That is what makes this course different from anything you would find online or in a traditional film school setting.
GJ Casting is co-presenting the course and contributing real-world expertise in casting, auditions, and the actor-filmmaker relationship — a part of the process most filmmaking courses skip over entirely.
